好文我顶(佩德洛斯• 马尔卡里思，小说家，剧作家，电影剧本作家和翻译家，1937年生于伊斯坦布尔。研学过经济学，并自1976年成为作家。曾与西奥•安哲罗普洛斯合作完成电影《36年岁月》、《亚历山大大帝》、《鹳鸟踟蹰》、《尤利西斯生命之旅》、《永远的一天》等的剧本。他也曾为在希腊播了三年的电视剧《罪行分析》撰写过剧本。

Petros Markaris - novelist, playwright, screenplay writer and translator - was born in Istanbul in 1937. He studied economics and has worked as a writer since 1976. He collaborated with Thodoros Angelopoulos on the screenplays of Days of ’36, Alexander the Great, The Suspended Step of the Stork, The Gaze of Odysseas and Eternity and a Day.
He also wrote the scripts for the television series Anatomy of a Crime, which ran for three years in Greece. He has translated works by many authors including Goethe, Arthur Schnitzler, Bertolt Brecht, Peter Weiss and Thomas Bernhardt into Greek.

Eugene Trivizas graduated in law and political and economic sciences from Athens University. He has a Master of Laws from University College London, and a doctorate in law from the LSE. He is a Senior Research Fellow at London University and he teaches criminology and comparative criminal law at Reading Univrsity where he is Director of Criminal Justice Studies.
He has published widely articles on criminology and law.Trivizas has written more than 100 books for children, one for adults, more than 20 plays and an opera libretto.His work has won numerous awards in Greece and abroad.Books by Trivizas have been broadcast by the BBC, included in Greek and American school readers and translated into fourteen languages.

Thanassis Valtinos was born in 1932. The hardships of the Occupation and the years that followed it forced his family to move several times, and he attended a number of high schools in Sparti, Gytheio and Tripoli. In 1950 he settled in Athens and studied cinema.
Since 1974 he has spent time abroad, in England, West Berlin and the U.S., as the guest of universities and other educational institutions.
His translations of Euripides’ Trojan Women and Aeschylus’ Oresteia were performed at Epidaurus, in 1979 and 1980 respectively, by the Theatro Technis under the direction of Karolos Koun. He has written screenplays for the cinema, and in 1984 he won the Cannes Festival screenplay award for Theo Angelopoulos’s film Journey to Kythera. In 1990 he won the Greek State Award for the Novel for Data from the Decade of the Sixties.
In 1989-1990 he was general manager of Channel Two of Greek state television.He is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Society of Greek Playwrights and is president of the Hellenic Authors' Society.He was recently elected to the Athens Academy.

Yoryis Yatromanolakis was born in Crete, Greece. Professor of ancient Greek Literature in Athens University. Many books and articles on Ancient Greek Literature, especially on Greek tragedy, Homer, literary criticism in Antiquity and Ancient Greek Novel. Books and articles on Modern Greek Literature, especially on George Seferis, Odysseus Elytis, Andreas Empeirikos, Yannis Ritsos, N. Kazantzakis, C.P. Cavafy etc. Editor of A. Empeirikos (the most important Greek surrealist poet). Seven novels: 1974 Leimonario (Spiritual Meadow), translated in English. 1979 I Arravoniastikia (Fiancée). 1982 Istoria. 1rst National Price for literature. Vassilis Papatsarouchas was born in Athens in 1975. He studied painting and graphic arts at the Athens School of Fine Arts. His paintings, installations, and video art have appeared in group exhibitions. He has illustrated more than 25 books, three of them his own texts. In 2003 he won an honourable mention from the Greek branch of IBBY for his illustrations of The Mystery of the Drought by Kostas Haralas. In 2004 he won first prize from the Greek branch of IBBY for his illustrations of the Chryssoula by Lila Patroklou, and the 2004 State Award for his illustrations of Little Riding Hood, adapted by Argyro Kokoreli. Vassilis Papatsarouchas has been candidate for the 2008 Hans Christian Andersen Prize.

Nikos Panagiotopoulos was born in Athens in 1963. While studying engineering he became involved with theatre. He worked as an arts correspondent for newspapers, periodicals and television (1989-1992), and since then has been a professional screenwriter for television and, since 1995, mainly for cinema. He has written five feature film screenplays, one of which – Apontes (directed by Nikos Grammatikos) – won the 1996 screenplay award at the 37th Thessaloniki Film Festival. His poems and short stories have won several prizes and his short story collection The Guilt of Materials won the Maria Ralli Award for new writers.
